About this course
The course explores narrative animation through drawn, cut-out and model stop-motion, including its aesthetics and conceptual approaches. Learners study examples from established narrative animators before creating short sequences. Teaching combines workshops, demonstrations, short lectures, practical exercises, tutorials and individual or group assistance. The technical process covers capturing frames with a DSLR camera and Dragonframe, editing and compositing clips in Adobe Premiere Pro CC, and exporting finished sequences with suitable codecs for social media and other delivery formats.
