Silver Ring Making – One Day Workshop

About this course

The workshop introduces ring making through demonstrations, group tuition and individual guidance. Participants practise techniques in copper before producing a copper band ring and developing a textured silver design. The course covers texturing, hard-soldering, polishing with a polishing machine and barrel polisher, and oxidising copper and silver to create a blackened finish. Learning is assessed informally through observation and practical projects.
