About this course

The course introduces SketchUp Pro as a tool for developing computer-based 3D design ideas, including interior projects, objects and outdoor spaces. Participants will work with different viewpoints, textures and finishes, simple shadows, image saving and print preparation. Teaching combines demonstrations, discussions, exercises and guidance for both groups and individuals. Tasks, notes and resources are also provided through Google Classroom.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for beginners who are developing their first SketchUp Pro skills. Participants should have a basic understanding of computer use and mouse control, be able to follow simple instructions and demonstrations, and use numbers for basic measurements and calculations. Group discussion is part of the learning format.

Before you go

  • Computers and SketchUp Pro software are available for use during class.
  • The studios use Mac computers.
