About this course
Classes combine physical and vocal warm-ups with exercises focused on breathing, alignment, resonance and projection. The main session gives each learner individual coaching on a chosen classical song, accompanied by live piano while the group observes. Work addresses musical and textual accuracy, pronunciation, expression and interpretation, with tutor feedback throughout. Learners also explore repertoire selection and receive suggested goals and resources for practice between classes.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for intermediate singers with at least a couple of years of vocal training, including those who have completed beginner classes or have experience of singing lessons or choral training. Learners should be prepared to sing solo in front of a small group, read some music, practise between classes and work individually while others observe.

- Bring music of the learner's own choice from the classical vocal repertoire, or repertoire suggested by the tutor.
