About this course
Learners explore how to set up and operate a live PA system with a digital mixing desk, including audio effects, signal routing and live recording. The course covers sound reinforcement for settings such as bands, conferences, churches and outdoor events, with a live gig providing an opportunity to operate a PA system. Teaching combines practical workshops with class discussion, listening assignments, audiovisual presentations, note taking, and group and individual projects.
