About this course
The course consolidates core Spanish structures while introducing more complex grammar, including affirmative and negative imperatives, direct and indirect object pronouns, and the present subjunctive. Topics include anecdotes, opinions on books and screen media, advertising, instructions, society and education, alongside cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries. Teaching centres on spoken interaction and communication, with pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Homework is highly recommended for consolidating classroom learning.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners at an intermediate Spanish level who have completed Spanish 3 lower: module 1 or studied Spanish for at least three years. It involves regular spoken interaction through pair work, group activities and role plays, with homework recommended to reinforce the learning.
- Previous Spanish study is expected, either through the preceding module or around three years of study
- Learners should be prepared to take part in spoken and collaborative classroom activities
- Homework is highly recommended between classes
