About this course
The course consolidates upper-intermediate Spanish through work on relative clauses, impersonal clauses and present and past subjunctive structures. Learners develop reading, writing, speaking and listening through spoken interaction, pair and group work, role plays and language games. Class resources include presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual material. Activities include extracting specific information from dialogues, analysing detailed information in newspaper articles, and expressing opinions and ideas using a broader vocabulary. Homework is recommended to reinforce classroom learning.

This course is intended for upper-intermediate learners at Stage 3 upper, labelled B2.1. It is designed for students who have studied Spanish for about four years recently or completed Spanish 3 upper and want to consolidate grammar and structures before progressing to level 4. Participation includes spoken interaction, pair work, group work and role plays.
