These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
About this course
The course introduces Spanish for everyday situations, including greetings, pronunciation, spelling, personal information, family and descriptions of people. Participants practise asking about word meanings and requesting repetition while learning to communicate about themselves and others. Teaching centres on spoken interaction, with pair work, group work, role plays and games supported by presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Homework is recommended to reinforce classroom learning.
