The session begins with an introduction to the film in Spanish, including its context, before the full film is shown with English subtitles. Afterwards, participants can discuss their impressions and the film’s key messages in Spanish or English. The session also provides an opportunity to consider the director’s style, themes and motivations. No additional study or work outside the session is required.
