About this course
The course develops communication in Spanish through discussions, role-plays and group activities. Learners work on describing cities, comparing past and present situations, discussing habits and customs, expressing opinions, and agreeing or disagreeing. Vocabulary covers historical periods, stages of life, city life and public services. Language study includes the imperfect tense, time expressions, comparative and superlative forms, relative clauses, and the use of “ya no” and “todavía”. The teacher uses Spanish throughout, alongside systematic work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and listening comprehension.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners at pre-intermediate level who have already studied Spanish for some time. It requires previous study equivalent to Spanish Level 10 or at least 120 class hours, including familiarity with key past tenses. Participation involves spoken communication, group work and role-plays.
