About this course
The course develops spoken and written Spanish through communication tasks involving future actions, conditions, hypotheses, narration and summaries of books or films. Learners also work on understanding jokes and discuss technology, science, entertainment and the future. Teaching combines group activities and role-play with systematic study of future forms, time markers, narrative connectives, conjunctions and direct and indirect object pronouns. The teacher conducts the course in Spanish, providing sustained listening and comprehension practice alongside vocabulary and pronunciation work.

This course is intended for learners at Pre-intermediate (A2+) level who have already studied Spanish to a fairly high level. It involves regular group work, role-play and spoken communication, with the teacher using Spanish throughout. Previous study equivalent to Spanish Level 13 or at least 156 class hours is required.
- Requires completion of Spanish Level 13 or equivalent study of at least 156 class hours
- Learners should be familiar with the pretérito indefinido, pretérito perfecto and pretérito imperfecto
- Includes frequent group speaking activities and role-play
