About this course
The course develops communication around recommendations, advice, advertisements, complaints, needs and proposed solutions. Learners also study the imperative, reflexive and object pronouns, and present subjunctive structures used with expressions of wishing, requesting and necessity. Lessons combine group activities and role-plays with systematic language work. Vocabulary covers advertisements, descriptive structures, social and administrative life, and social activism. The teacher conducts the class in Spanish, providing regular listening and comprehension practice alongside work on pronunciation and written communication, including a letter of complaint.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for intermediate learners who have studied Spanish to a fairly high level. Previous study of Spanish Level 14 or at least 168 class hours is required, so it is not designed for complete beginners. Participation includes spoken communication, group work and role-plays.
