About this course
The course develops communication in situations including phone conversations, conveying messages, making requests, giving advice, discussing travel and tourism, and explaining causes and consequences. Learners also work on indirect speech, narrative combinations of the past tenses, the past perfect, connectors, and expressing degrees of certainty in the indicative and subjunctive.

This Intermediate (B1) course is intended for learners who have already studied Spanish to a fairly high level. Previous study equivalent to Spanish Level 15 or at least 180 class hours is required, and learners should be familiar with key Spanish past tenses. Classes involve group work, role-plays and communication in Spanish.
