About this course
The course develops Spanish through spoken communication, with group activities and role-plays alongside systematic work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Learners practise describing places, discussing weather and preferences, identifying objects, expressing needs, and handling shopping conversations. Language work includes location, demonstratives, quantifiers, comparatives, and key uses of estar, ir, preferir and tener que. The teacher conducts the lessons in Spanish to provide listening and comprehension practice. Topics also introduce aspects of the Hispanic world, with vocabulary covering geography, seasons, clothing, colours, everyday objects and numbers above 100.

This course is intended for elementary learners who have completed a beginners’ Spanish course or studied Spanish for at least 12 class hours. The lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with the teacher speaking Spanish throughout.

- The required coursebook is Aula Internacional Plus: Libro del alumno + MP3 descargable 1 (A1), Units 3 and 4.
