About this course
The course builds Spanish communication around family and friends, preferences, food and restaurant situations. Learners work with grammar including gustar, quantifiers, possessive adjectives, agreement and disagreement, verbs such as poner and traer, and direct object pronouns. Vocabulary covers family, music, food, cooking styles and restaurants, alongside discussion of food and drink in the Hispanic world. Teaching combines spoken communication, group activities and role-plays with structured work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The teacher speaks Spanish throughout the lessons, providing practice in comprehension and listening.

This course is intended for Elementary learners who have already studied Spanish. The stated entry point is Spanish Level 2 or a course of at least 24 class hours. Participation includes spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with the teacher speaking Spanish throughout the lessons.
