About this course

The course develops Spanish for everyday communication, including discussing routines and habits, expressing frequency, telling the time and describing daily activities. Learners work on present-tense forms of irregular verbs, reflexive pronouns, agreement and disagreement, sequencing words, and vocabulary for days and parts of the day. Teaching combines spoken practice, group work and role-plays with systematic study of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The teacher conducts the class in Spanish to provide listening and comprehension practice.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for Elementary learners developing beyond the earliest stage of Spanish. It requires previous study equivalent to Spanish Level 3 or at least 36 class hours, and involves regular spoken communication, group work and role-plays.

• The teacher uses Spanish throughout the class

Before you go

• The required coursebook is Aula Internacional Plus: Libro del alumno + MP3 descargable 1 (A1). It should be purchased after the first lesson and is available from reception on the day of the second lesson.
