About this course
The course develops communication around knowledge and skills, past experiences, and people’s positive and negative qualities. Learners work with vocabulary for sports, activities and professions, while studying distinctions such as saber and conocer, poder and saber followed by an infinitive, and the pretérito perfecto for past experiences. Teaching combines spoken group activities and role-plays with structured grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation work. The teacher uses Spanish throughout the lessons, giving learners regular practice in comprehension and listening.

Is this course right for you?
This Elementary (A2) course is for learners who are already studying Spanish and have completed Spanish Level 5 or a course of at least 60 class hours. It involves regular spoken participation, including group work and role-plays, alongside teacher-led language study.
- Previous study of Spanish is explicitly required
- Lessons include collaborative activities and role-plays
Before you go
- Aula Internacional Plus 1, Libro del alumno A1, Unit 9 is required. The coursebook should be purchased after the first lesson and is available from reception on the day of the second lesson.
