About this course
This course extends learners’ Spanish through conversations about people, relationships, homes, leisure, holidays and preferences. Classes combine spoken activities and role-plays with structured study of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Topics include the pretérito indefinido, irregular present-tense verbs, comparatives, possessive pronouns, prepositions and verbs such as gustar, encantar and preferir. The teacher conducts lessons in Spanish, giving learners regular practice in comprehension and listening. Course content follows Units 3 and 4 of Aula Internacional Plus 2, Libro del alumno A2.

The course is intended for learners who have already studied Spanish Level 7 or completed at least 84 class hours. The Elementary (A2) label indicates a course for learners developing beyond the earliest foundations. Participation centres on spoken communication, group work and role-plays.
- Previous Spanish study equivalent to Level 7 or at least 84 class hours is required
- Learners are expected to participate in group activities and role-plays
- The teacher speaks Spanish throughout the lessons
