What Pre-intermediate (A2+) Spanish means
At A2+ Spanish, learners can connect simple sentences, give reasons and manage a wider range of familiar situations.

About this course
The course develops Spanish for everyday situations, including discussing routines and food, telling the time, describing places, asking for and giving directions, and talking about recent experiences. Learners also practise describing people’s characters. Teaching centres on communication through pair and group work, role plays and games, supported by presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Language work includes present-tense regular, irregular and reflexive verbs, frequency adverbs, pronouns, prepositions of place, impersonal forms and the present perfect. Homework is recommended for consolidation.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners who have completed Spanish rápidamente: module 1, have some basic Spanish knowledge, or already speak a Romance language. The accelerated format includes frequent spoken interaction, pair and group work, role plays and games, so learners should expect to participate actively in these activities.
- Previous basic Spanish knowledge or completion of the preceding module is expected
- The course is designed for learners comfortable with a faster pace
- Spoken interaction and collaborative classroom activities are central
