About this course
This masterclass examines the wine regions of Valencia, Utiel-Requena, Manchuela, La Mancha, Alicante and Jumilla, considering their history, geography and cultural influences. A guided tasting uses examples including Bobal, Moscatel and Monastrell to illustrate the range of styles associated with the Central Mediterranean Coast and Meseta. The session forms part of the Wine Scholar Guild’s Spanish Wine Scholar curriculum and offers an introduction to this area of Spanish wine study.
