About this course
This Wine Scholar Guild masterclass examines Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and País Vasco through their history, geography and cultural influences. Teaching is paired with a guided tasting covering wines such as Albariño from Rías Baixas, Godello from Valdeorras, Asturian reds and Basque txakoli. The session considers how Atlantic-influenced coastal terroirs contribute to the character and diversity of wines from Green Spain, providing an introduction to this part of the wider Spanish Wine Scholar curriculum.
