About this course
The course develops quick, expressive drawing through gesture and rhythm, helping learners capture movement before reducing complex subjects to basic shapes and forms. Activities include rapid figure and portrait studies, short-pose drawing, everyday objects, and quick compositions of environments and architecture. Learners also explore pencil, charcoal, ink and brush pens, alongside experimental mark-making. The course combines these exercises into a sketchbook or folio of dynamic drawings.
