Participants plan and make a glass project suited to their experience, working with demonstrations, guided practice, individual advice and group discussion. The course covers traditional methods including leadwork, copper foil and glass appliqué, alongside warm-glass processes such as painting, fusing and slumping. Projects may involve decorative or functional pieces, while practical sessions address design development, cutting and shaping glass, soldering, kiln preparation, safe equipment use and techniques for completing work to a high standard.
