About this course

Participants design and make a stained glass hanging panel, exploring colour, tone and line through pattern making, glass cutting, surface decoration, leading, soldering and cementing. The course introduces practical studio techniques through guided activities and tutor feedback. Depending on available time, sessions may also cover glass painting and staining, sandblasting with hand-painted resists, and basic fusing with inclusions. Learning is monitored through a Personal Learning Plan, written practice notes and discussions with the tutor.
