About this course
The course examines how natural and available light, location and spontaneous moments can shape street photographs. Learners practise candid photography, approach the challenge of photographing strangers, and use environments to construct visual narratives through single images and sequenced photo-essays. Sessions also consider ambiguity, intention and developing a personal perspective rather than reproducing existing approaches. Learners produce a small body of work and discuss how it might be developed into a portfolio.

- Apply techniques for capturing candid photographs and spontaneous moments
