An all-levels study day examining Surrealism’s origins, ideas, artists and political context through lectures, visual material, activities and discussion.
About this course

It examines selected paintings and sculptures by artists including Max Ernst, Leonora Carrington, René Magritte, Meret Oppenheim and Salvador Dalí, alongside the movement’s themes of dream imagery and the unconscious.
