Summer School – Explore Printmaking

About this course

Participants explore monoprint, drypoint and collage while experimenting with colour and black-and-white printing. The course involves drawing and mark-making as part of developing a series of prints, with learners working together in the printmaking studio. Those with existing experience may also use the facilities for personal printmaking projects. Beginners are welcome, while the open format allows more experienced participants to extend their technical and artistic practice.

Before you go

• Participants should bring scissors, a Stanley or craft knife, drawing materials such as pencils and an eraser, and an apron if available.
• The printroom has stocks of plates and paper, which can be purchased in small quantities.
