Super Short-Form

About this course

The course explores short-form improvisation through warm-ups, fast-paced exercises and repeated play of comedy games. Participants work with emotions, physical changes and immediate reactions to create characters and scenes in the moment. Teaching places particular emphasis on feedback and iteration. The group examines classic and less frequently used games, develops new formats and revisits material to refine how each game works in performance. Regular work with the same ensemble supports the development of a shared show.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for improvers and experienced improvisers who want to work on short-form comedy at a faster pace. Learners without previous experience performing improv comedy on stage are advised to begin with the provider’s earlier Level 1 to 3 courses.
