Supervised Practice Time

About this course

This supervised practice format gives learners enrolled on Level 2 or 3 circus courses time to work on equipment outside formal classes. Participants can revisit techniques and moves already introduced, consolidate skills, develop strength and become more familiar with the equipment. The sessions also allow time for individual training and devising acts, with participants directing their own practice within the supervised setting.

• Consolidate skills through repeated work on circus equipment
• Develop strength through continued equipment-based practice
• Devise acts using the available practice time and equipment

Is this course right for you?

The sessions are designed for learners currently enrolled on Level 2 or 3 circus courses. They suit participants who can work independently on techniques already covered in class and organise their own practice within a supervised session.

• Intended for current Level 2 or 3 course participants
• Requires practice of techniques already learned in class
• Practice is individually directed rather than presented as a formal class

Before you go

• Supervised Practice Time is not currently available for Flying Trapeze or Tumbling participants.
• Static trapezes may not always be available on Thursdays and Sundays.
