Sustaining Your Creative Practice: Studio Group

About this course

The course examines different aspects of maintaining an active contemporary arts practice, including creative research, documentation, funding, exhibiting, accessibility, professional development and digital presence. Sessions combine lectures, seminars, workshops, discussions and tutorials, with opportunities to share work and receive feedback from tutors and fellow participants. Participants work independently on their own creative projects outside class, while tutor guidance, group discussions and an individual tutorial support the development of ideas, goals and a personal action plan. Visiting artists and creative professionals may contribute during some terms.

Participants should have an existing body of work or portfolio to share, and should be prepared to discuss their work in a group while developing projects independently between sessions.
