About this course
Participants learn the Yang Cheng Fu Tai Chi form, built from 37 postures, through slow, instructor-led movement. Sessions examine natural body movement, balance, timing, coordination and the relationship between Yin and Yang through Qi Gong postures. After demonstrations, learners practise independently and with other students while receiving feedback. The class focuses on posture, movement from the body’s centre, and the health-related aspects of Tai Chi, while also introducing the martial applications contained within the form.
What you'll learn

- Locate the body’s centre, or dantien, and move and turn from it.
- Recognise correct posture and adjust personal posture.
- Develop balance, flexibility, gait, motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
