About this course

Participants explore fabric silkscreen printing with paper stencils, preparing cloth and building coloured overlays with pigments, opaque and transparent binders. The course also covers surface treatments including foiling, flocking and puff effects, with thermofax screen production available as an option. Teaching combines demonstrations, illustrated samples, visual presentations, handouts, group discussion, individual tuition and practical work. Learners develop designs, print and fix their work, and receive guidance on researching ideas and preparing for class activities.

Before you go
