The course is intended for artists and creatives of all abilities. Although it is listed as suitable for all levels, some drawing experience is recommended, so it may suit learners developing beyond their first encounters with drawing.

- Some previous drawing experience is recommended.
Before you go
- Easels, drawing boards, charcoal, newsprint and masking tape are provided in the studio.
- Cartridge and watercolour paper are provided; an additional paper fee applies at booking.
- Participants may bring additional personal materials, such as pencils, Conté crayons, pastels, ink pens, coloured pencils, erasers, a sharpener or a sketchbook.
- A full suggested materials list is provided one week before the course begins.
