The Heart of Italian Wine: Piemonte & Tuscany

An all-levels guided tasting of eight wines from Piemonte and Tuscany, covering sparkling, white, rosé, red and sweet styles.
About this course
This guided tasting examines the range of wine styles produced in Piemonte and Tuscany through eight examples. The Piemonte selection includes a sparkling wine, a white and two reds, while the Tuscan selection covers a rosé, two reds and a sweet wine. The wines include recognised names such as Barbera, Barolo, Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino, alongside Arneis, Alta Langa, Bolgheri and Vin Santo. The session is structured around sampling these regional examples and considering the variety within two of Italy’s major wine-producing areas.
