About this course

The course develops ensemble singing through group vocal warm-ups and rehearsals in separate voice parts. Repertoire spans classic soul, jazz, world music, rock and pop, with music taught by ear rather than requiring music reading. Written lyrics and notation are also available for learners who wish to use them. Sessions include work on vocal technique, rhythm, pitch and building a shared repertoire, with occasional opportunities to perform publicly. Taking part in performances is optional.
