About this course
Participants explore several printmaking processes, making plates with tools, tape, found and recycled materials before printing onto paper. The term focuses on monoprinting, drypoint with Chine Collé and collagraph, with set projects providing a framework for developing individual work. Teaching combines demonstrations, presentations, group discussions, critiques and one-to-one technical feedback. Learners work independently in the studio while considering their own and others’ work, recording ideas and progress in a sketchbook.
