About this course
This guided wine tasting examines Burgundy’s principal regions and grape varieties, alongside Chardonnay-dominant and Pinot-dominant Champagne. The selection includes wines from Chablis, the Côte Chalonnaise, Mâconnais, Beaujolais and the Côte d’Or, with examples spanning regional, village and Premier Cru classifications. Participants taste at least six locally sourced wines and receive full tasting notes and a tasting sheet. The selection is designed to show contrasts between styles, including mineral Chablis, Beaujolais Cru and different expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
