About this course

Participants explore wood as a sculptural material through demonstrations of carving techniques and guided practice. Teaching combines group instruction with individual guidance, allowing learners to work through techniques and cut and shape wood into a sample. Learners already attending a wood carving term course can use the session to develop or complete an ongoing project with tutor guidance.

The course is open to all levels and specifically welcomes beginners, with no entry requirements stated.
