What Beginner (A1) Turkish means

At A1 Turkish, learners are beginning to use familiar words and simple sentences in predictable everyday situations.

  • Introduce yourself

    Benim adım Anna. Londra’da yaşıyorum.

My name is Anna. I live in London.

  • Order in a café

    Bir kahve alabilir miyim, lütfen?

May I have a coffee, please?

  • Ask for directions

    Affedersiniz, istasyon nerede?

Excuse me, where is the station?

These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
