About this course

Participants examine how type can organise information, improve clarity and function as a visual form. The course introduces fundamental typographic elements and principles, which are applied through projects treating typography as both communication and art. Learning is developed through tutor guidance and project critiques, allowing participants to discuss work and respond to feedback. One session includes use of letterpress facilities, providing an opportunity to explore typography through a print-based process.
