About this course
This course introduces the principles and decision-making processes behind usable interface and interaction design. Participants examine usability requirements, motivations and measures, then explore heuristic evaluation, user data collection, personas, visual design principles and prototyping. Teaching combines demonstrations and theory with discussion and individual and group exercises. Participants apply evaluation methods to existing designs, including setting up user testing sessions and analysing findings to inform user-centred design decisions.
