About this course
Participants set up a YouTube channel for an individual, brand, project or business, then organise it with video sections and linked content. The course covers YouTube Creator Studio and Shotcut for trimming, cutting, adding titles, effects, styles and music, as well as using cards and end screens for promotion and interactivity. Teaching combines tutor demonstrations and explanations with individual practice, alongside some group work. The focus is on managing pre-existing video content rather than producing new footage from scratch.
