About this course
The course develops violin and viola technique alongside general musicianship through online group tuition. Sessions combine whole-class teaching with individual and small-group practice, allowing learners to work on repertoire and playing skills in both solo and ensemble contexts. Content includes repertoire from ABRSM, Trinity and LCM syllabuses, sight reading and playing in first position. Learners are expected to practise regularly between lessons so that the class can progress together.

- Learners should be familiar with semibreves, minims, crotchets and quavers
- The class is structured for learners progressing together as a group
