About this course
The course introduces photography as a way of communicating stories, using camera settings, framing, perspective and lighting to shape an image. Participants explore natural and artificial light, and consider how mood, emotion and narrative can be conveyed within a single photograph. Teaching combines explanations with practical projects. The course also covers straightforward image enhancements using free or built-in editing software, allowing participants to apply the techniques introduced during the sessions.
