About this course
Participants learn the stages involved in creating a wax-carved jewellery piece, from sizing a wax block for a ring to cutting, shaping and preparing the wax for casting. The course uses demonstrations alongside practical exercises, allowing learners to develop a ring or pendant design in three dimensions. After the piece has been cast in silver, the course covers cleaning and polishing the finished item.
