About this course

The workshop introduces processes for creating enamelled jewellery, including metal preparation and several approaches to surface decoration. Participants explore hammer texturing, rolling mills and a pendant drill for texturing and drilling metal, with practical work forming part of the learning process. Teaching combines tutor demonstrations and explanations with one-to-one dialogue, group discussion and handouts. Learners with more experience in jewellery or sculpture making may use the workshop to develop their own projects.
