About this course
The workshop introduces relief printmaking through a combination of hand cutting, laser cutting and laser engraving. Participants use basic Photoshop and InDesign techniques to turn imagery into vector files, then develop multiple woodblocks and build layered compositions using carving, stippling and reduction methods. Teaching combines demonstrations with workshop-based practice and guidance. Participants print using a relief press and by hand burnishing, while learning to make registration templates for multiple-block prints.
