Wooden Jewellery With Silver And Pearl Inlay Short Course

About this course

Participants develop contemporary jewellery designs in wood through a series of guided projects. The course begins with a pendant made from 5mm wood and small silver dot inlay, followed by a ring or pendant using 10mm wood with silver line and/or an inlaid pearl. Exercises can be adapted into individual designs, with further time to explore different woods, shaping methods and decorating techniques. The course also introduces ways to adapt existing hand-tools for working with wood and inlay.
