Woodworking Taster Class Make A Serving Board

About this course

Participants create a hardwood serving board from an initial design through to a finished surface. The workshop introduces hardwood characteristics, marking out, sawing, shaping and sanding through progressively finer grits, followed by application of a food-safe oil finish. Teaching is structured around a step-by-step demonstration and guided practice. Basic tool handling and workshop safety are covered alongside the construction process.
