World of Wine (Europe) - Four Week Package

About this course

This course examines how European winemaking developed and influenced production around the world. Participants taste 25 wines from across the continent while comparing important grape varieties, their regions of origin and traditional methods associated with different areas. Teaching combines guided tasting with discussion of wine history, culture and food. The course also covers food pairings, wine-buying information and ways to interpret complex labels, with opportunities for participants to ask questions throughout.
